Manchester United and Portugal midfielder Bruno Fernandes was in excellent form during his country’s recent friendly against Israel.
Fernandes, 26, is currently preparing to help Portugal defend their 2016 Euros trophy as this summer’s delayed tournament edges ever closer to kicking off.
Portugal are in Group F, dubbed this year’s ‘group of death’ – after it was confirmed they will be joined by Germany, France and Hungary.
Fernandes, Cristiano Ronaldo and co. were all back in action on Wednesday night for their final international friendly before their opening Euros fixture against Hungary next Tuesday.
In what was a hugely impressive performance from United’s Fernandes, the 26-year-old was easily the best player on the pitch.
After eventually going on to thump Israel 4-0, Fernandes was directly involved in three goals – including a brace of his own.
