Christian Falk: Bayern not interested in Jadon Sancho

Bayern Munich will not bid for Jadon Sancho this summer, according to BILD reporter Christian Falk.

Falk is a renowned German transfer expert who works in the media, a bit like Fabrizio Romano, who has broken a number of big deals in recent years. His Twitter account is one you follow for daily transfer updates when the summer is here.

However, this coming transfer window will be impacted by COVID-19 with many clubs like Borussia Dortmund more disposed to selling their top assets.

Apparently in Germany there had been reports that Bayern Munich were interested in signing Jadon Sancho this summer, potentially competing with Manchester United for the player’s signature.

Falk claims the rumours are false via Twitter.

He also adds that United have yet to open negotiations with Borussia Dortmund over a possible summer deal.

After signing Leroy Sane last summer, added to a squad full of width, why on earth would Bayern sign Sancho? That doesn’t make sense.

It looks like it could be another saga for Sancho this summer.

Part of me just hopes United sign him before the European Championships.

I’d hate to see him playing for Liverpool next season — not that I think they’ve got the money to sign a player like that this sunmmer.
