(Video) Mourinho launches rant on Solskjaer and questions Man Utd manager as a father

Jose Mourinho launched an extraordinary rant on Ole Gunnar Solskjaer after his comments following Manchester United’s disallowed goal vs Tottenham.

Solskjaer was furious at Heung-min Son in his post-match interview after the Tottenham star’s theatrical reaction to Scott McTominay’s brush of his face in the first-half.

United went on to dismantle Spurs 3-1 in North London but the altercation was a key talking point post-match.

McTominay’s innocuous hand didn’t appear deliberate or aggressive but Son went down in for a sustained period before the goal was eventually chalked off by referee Chris Kavagnah.

Solskjaer wasn’t pleased with Son’s reaction and claimed he would have punished his son had he had a similar reaction to the South Korean after the incident.

“We shouldn’t be conned. I have to say, if my son stays down for three minutes and he needs his ten mates to help him up, he won’t get any food,” Solskjaer told Sky Sports post-match, as quoted by UtdReport.

Mourinho was angry after hearing Solskjaer’s comments and embarked on an incredible rant about the United boss, even questioning the Norwegian’s credentials as a father.

The former United manager expressed his deep disappoint with Solskjaer and said his player was fortunate that his father is a ‘better person’ than Solskjaer.

“Sonny is very lucky that his father is a better person than Ole,” he said, as quoted by the MEN’s Samuel Luckhurst.

“Because a father, you have always to feed your kids, it doesn’t matter what they do. If you have to steal to feed your kids you steal. I have told Ole what I think about his comments.”
