Manchester United have taken a 2-1 lead in the final ten minutes of their Premier League fixture against Brighton.
Mason Greenwood, United’s brightest attacker all evening, nodded in Paul Pogba’s scuffed volley to complete the turnaround against Graham Potter’s side in the closing stages.
United have failed to threaten for large periods but have built on their momentum gained through Marcus Rashford’s classy equaliser.
Greenwood is constantly hungry for goals and has been unlucky not to have more to this name this season, but this predatory effort will be particularly pleasing for him and manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
The goal came within minutes of the teenager being moved centrally after Edinson Cavani’s substitution.
