Manchester United star Amad Diallo has taken to Instagram to pay tribute to former Atalanta team-mate and friend Willy Ta Bi (Willy Braciano), who has sadly passed away at the age of 21.
African outlet Koaci report that Willy had battled against liver cancer for months.
He joined Atalanta in January of 2019 and had represented the Ivory Coast as youth level.
Amad has paid tribute to his friend on Instagram, writing ‘Now sleep in peace friend’ and ‘Rest in peace friend’ via stories, as screenshotted below:
That’s really no age for someone to pass away and we’d like to pass on our sympathies to everyone connected with Willy Ta Bi.
He had captained the Ivory Coast at youth level and after moving to Europa at such a young age there would have been a lot of excitement around him.
