Lou Macari homeless shelter: ‘I thought surely we can do better than this?’

Lou Macari made over 400 appearances for Manchester United.

His career began at Celtic and he also played for Stoke City, as well as the Scotland national side.

Lou Macari runs a homeless shelter in Stoke-on-Trent, but when COVID-19 came along the former footballer was forced to shut it down.

With 46 residents with nowhere to go, he came up with this solution.
