Loads of Manchester United fans react as Donny van de Beek starts and Amad named on bench vs West Ham

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has named new signing Amad on the bench for Manchester United’s FA Cup fifth-round tie against West Ham.

United can reach the quarter-finals with victory over David Moyes’ rejuvenated Hammers at Old Trafford this evening.

With five substitutes at his disposal in the cup competition, Amad could be handed his first-team debut after impressing since linking up with his new teammates in January.

The Ivorian winger registered a hat-trick of assists and scored in United U23’s 6-4 victory over Blackburn at Leigh Sports Village on Friday night and is an attacking option that Solskjaer could utilise.

Dean Henderson returns as United’s ‘cup ‘keeper’ while Alex Telles comes in at left-back allowing Luke Shaw a rest.

Fred and Nemanja Matic make up United’s midfield axis while Donny van de Beek gets his opportunity in the advanced role.

Anthony Martial returns to lead the line and is supported by Mason Greenwood and Marcus Rashford in a triple-pronged attack.

A strong United bench includes Amad, Bruno Fernandes, Scott McTominay and Edinson Cavani.

United supporters on social media are particularly excited about the possibility of seeing Amad’s debut this evening.

Man Utd XI to face West Ham: Henderson; AWB, Lindelof, Maguire, Telles; Matic, Fred, Van de Beek; Rashford, Martial, Greenwood.
