Dean Henderson
Powerful hand prevented Liverpool attacker meeting Alexander-Arnold cross early on but helpless twice against Salah. Good save to deny the Egyptian from his hat-trick. 6
Aaron Wan-Bissaka
Liverpool didn’t have much joy down the left and that owes to his resilience at the back. Supported well defensively by Pogba. 6
Victor Lindelof
Caught out of position for Salah’s opener and not as solid as he was a week earlier at Anfield. 6
Harry Maguire
At fault for Liverpool’s second and still looks more comfortable with Bailly as his partner. Made some key blocks. 6
Luke Shaw
Was culpable for Salah’s opening goal but otherwise outstanding. Ambitious on the overlap and developing great partnership with Rashford down the left-flank. 7
Scott McTominay
Grew into the game and protected centre backs well but could have been more prudent in possession. 6
Paul Pogba
Caught on the ball at times but showed he can be effective in all areas again with diligent defensive work. He is becoming undroppable under Solskjaer. 7
Donny van de Beek
Made a bright start but faded quickly and wasn’t an effective presence. Doesn’t take enough risks in possession and understandably subbed for Bruno Fernandes. 5
Marcus Rashford
Glorious assist for Greenwood’s equaliser and showed superb composure for second. He frustrates at times but provided two decisive moments of quality. 8
Mason Greenwood
First goal in ten games was finished immaculately after quiet opening. Substituted for Fred as United looked to regain control of the midfield battle. 6
Edinson Cavani
Provides the focal point that Solskjaer’s other options simply do not. Tireless work rate was not rewarded as his late header struck the post. 7
Substitutes
Fred
Helped United gain control of the midfield. 7
Bruno Fernandes
Often criticised for not delivering against the big opposition but stroked the free-kick home with such ease it was like a penalty. Cross for Cavani late on was sensational. 8
Anthony Martial
Brought on for Rashford. N/A
