Video: Bruno Fernandes scores from second penalty attempt to make it 1-0 vs West Brom

There’s been a lot of drama in the second half at Old Trafford.

First it was West Brom who had a penalty overruled.

Then Manchester United had a penalty of their own saved by former youth player Sam Johnstone.

It was given for a handball inside the box following a Juan Mata cross.

But Johnstone stepped off his line before stopped Fernandes’ effort.

Fernandes didn’t miss the second time as he send the ball past Johnstone to give the Reds a one-goal lead.

West Brom will be fuming after having a decent penalty shout overturned, but you won’t hear us complaining about that.

Fernandes’ penalty puts us in pole position to clinch three points and it’s needed to get our season back on track.

Check out the missed penalty and retake below, again courtesy of BT Sport.
