It’s been a horrible start to the season for Manchester United captain Harry Maguire.
He had been sluggish in the lead up to his second booking but when you put in another rash tackle you’re always going to give the referee a decision to make.
Maguire put himself under pressure with the early challenge, so every time it was like watching him walk a tightrope whenever he went to ground.
It was a poor first touch from Maguire that led to Kasper Dolberg closing him down. Although the United centre-back wins the ball, his follow through gets Dolberg.
I don’t think he can argue about the second booking.

Maguire’s red card is England’s third red card at Wembley, as per BBC Sport — Paul Scholes vs Sweden in 1999 and Steven Gerrard vs Ukraine in September 2012.
I can’t help but feel for him because what happened in Greece is bound to take a hit mentally. Hopefully he can get back to United and rediscover his best form.
Former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Christian Eriksen scored a penalty shortly after Maguire’s red card, a penalty-kick on his 100th appearance for Denmark.
