Exclusive: Sancho’s representatives face the same deadline day uncertainty as fans do

Manchester United’s extensive pursuit of number-one summer transfer target Jadon Sancho has reached its end-game with Monday’s deadline fast approaching and shockingly, those closest to the player are still unsure whether or not United will stump up the cash.

Sancho, 20, emerged earlier this year as a top-target for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer after enjoying a hugely impressive breakthrough campaign with Borussia Dortmund.

The talented young winger featured a total of 44 times in all competitions for Dortmund last season and was directly involved in a stunning 40 goals.

Despite United’s relentless interest in Sancho, so far, any proposed move has failed to materialise after Dortmund recently rejected a £91.3m bid from the Reds, as per Sky Sports.

With just under four days left in the transfer window things are really beginning to hot-up with fanbases and industry professionals all around the world split in their opinions on whether or not United can land Sancho in time.

StrettyNews has recently obtained information relating to the proposed £108m transfer of Sancho to United.

We understand that representatives involved in the deal feel like they have now done all they can to bring the talented Englishman to Old Trafford and the potential transfer has now been placed firmly in United’s hands.

There is a general feeling among those involved in the deal that Dortmund could be willing to cash-in on their young attacker but United will need to act fast.

The groundwork for Sancho to complete a stunning move to Solskjaer’s United has been laid but those representing the youngster aren’t sure if the Reds’ hierarchy will launch a late bid for the Dortmund winger.

Both Sancho and his representatives are now resigned to the fact that no more can be done to facilitate the Englishman’s potential move back to England but have also admitted that they now face the same uncertainty as fans do.
