Manchester United are currently embroiled in a close affair down on the south coast against Graham Potter’s impressive Brighton and Hove Albion.
United have survived a first-half scare after striker Neil Maupay fired the Seagulls into the lead from the spot after star-midfielder Bruno Fernandes was deemed to have fouled breakthrough talent Tariq Lamptey inside of the box.
United’s first-half blushes were saved just three-minutes though when club captain Harry Maguire poked home an equaliser from close range.
The first-half could have been even worse for the Reds though after wide-man Leandro Trossard hit both posts within the first half an hour.
Despite youngster Mason Greenwood having an early goal disallowed for a Marcus Rashford offside during the build-up play, United have unquestionably been the worst side on the pitch this afternoon.
The Reds’ now go into the break all square at 1-1 with Solskjaer undoubtedly keen to gather his young guns in the hope of ensuring that they can restart the second-half in much the same fashion they ended the first.
In light of United’s largely disappointing first 45-minutes loads of fans have taken to their social media to express their discontent with yet another sub-par performance.

Panicking…. they need to calm down a bit and pass the ball around. Press a bit more when not in position and force Brighton in making mistakes. Game is ther to be taken.

I can’t believe how lethargic this m.u. team is I thought after having an extra week of than most teams we would come back fitter and rested, what’s happened to our passing game, our midfield is now defending instead of going forward winning the midfield and feeding the forward line is Ole the man
