Borussia Dortmund chief reiterates Sancho transfer stance

The Jadon Sancho saga this summer has been a tiresome one.

Still, we await transfer updates but with a more pessimistic approach and it doesn’t sound like Borussia Dortmund are budging on their hardline approach.

The latest quotes from Dortmund sporting director Sebastian Kehl suggests they won’t be changing their position on the England international, as tweeted by renowned journalist Fabrizio Romano.

“He is our player — and he will stay,” said Kehl. “It was an important statement from the club, because we have a certain responsibility.”

Last month GOAL reported that United were not giving up on Sancho, but how long will they persist knocking on the door nobody is willing to answer?

There may come a time United look elsewhere, if the hierarchy are serious about improving the team. That has been questioned by former player Patrice Evra in a 20-minute long rant on Instagram this week.

Anyone who loves this club should speak out against these hours and challenge themselves by asking if anything can be done about our dire owners. Evra deserves enormous respected.

Wolves have been linked with a move for Juventus attacker Douglas Costa, as per Calciomercato, yet The Times previously suggested that the Brazilian was seen as a possible alternative to Sancho by United.
