Man United’s transfer plan for Jadon Sancho that includes three payment instalments

Manchester United’s pursuit of Jadon Sancho is unsurprisingly dominating the headlines just days into the transfer window.

United’s interest in the Borussia Dortmund star is football’s worst kept secret as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer looks to accelerate his rebuild this summer.

And the latest update from German publication BILD, who have been very active in covering the Sancho saga, is encouraging for United supporters that want to see the 20-year-old in a red shirt next season.

BILD’s latest report claims United plan to meet Dortmund’s €120m asking price for the England international, albeit in three different instalments.

It is believed United are prepared to be offer an initial €70m, plus two further instalments of €30 and €20m to secure Sancho’s services.

Importantly, it is also noted that Dortmund ‘would not say no’ to a deal totalling €120m, regardless of whether the money is received in different instalments.

There had been some suggestions that Dortmund would only accept an upfront €120m so its encouraging to hear the German club are willing to compromise with United, who are clearly looking to structure their payments in order to pull off the transfer.

Sancho’s proposed switch continues to gather pace and we will keep you up to date on all the latest surrounding his future at Stretty News.

The young forward netted 17 goals and laid on 16 assists in the Bundesliga last season, and would complement United’s attacking trident of Mason Greenwood, Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial perfectly.
