Bruno Fernandes has been a sensation since joining Manchester United in January.
The Portugal star has completed an impressive club double, by winning Manchester United’s Official Goal-of-the-Month competition for June.
It was his magnificent second goal against Brighton on 30 June that came out on top of a poll in the Official App.
Fernandes was also crowned United’s Player of the Month for June on Saturday. It’s the third time in a row he has claimed that particular prize and he’ll be in the hunt for it again in July!
However, it is the first time he’s won the Goal-of-the-Month award and we’re sure it won’t be his last if he continues contributing to goals at this rate.
The impact he has had on the team has been remarkable and hopefully it’s what we need to take this squad to the next level.
His goal against Brighton was a real beauty as he volleyed his effort home at the end of a quick counter-attack at the Amex Stadium.
Next up for the Red Devils is a trip away to Aston Villa. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will be hoping all his star players put the sword to a relegation-battling Villa side.
