Club Brugge have been dealt a major blow ahead of their Europa League second leg tie against Manchester United at Old Trafford on Thursday.
The Belgian outfit are without two of their most influential players for the clash which is finely poised after the 1-1 draw in Bruges.
Club captain Ruud Vormer and striker Emmanuel Dennis have both failed to recover from knocks picked up in this weekend’s victory over Charleroi in the Belgian Pro League.
Dennis was the standout player in the first-leg, as his expertly weighted lob over Sergio Romero gave the home side a surprise lead.
His absence could be a crucial blow for Brugge on Thursday who will be left without a focal point in attack.

Anthony Martial’s crucial away goal at the Jan Breydel Stadium puts United favourites to progress through to the round of 16.
And Brugge’s chances have further diminished with the news that two of their best players have not travelled to Manchester.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side should be looking to continue to build momentum on Thursday after the routine 3-0 victory over Watford on Sunday.
