How Man Utd starlet Hannibal Mejbri makes fun of teammates in training

Hannibal Mejbri is exciting Manchester United fans as well as those behind the scenes at Old Trafford.

The 17-year-old starlet moved to the club from Monaco this summer in a deal worth up to £9.3m (Mirror) and been starring in the youth teams.

Mejbri has made five appearances for the u23 side this season, contributing two assists in the Premier League 2.

And according to Laurie Whitwell’s piece in the Athletic, Mejbri has earned a reputation for becoming somewhat of a p*** taker in training sessions.

Mejbri’s trickery and footwork is said to bamboozle his teammates on the training field.

“He actually takes the “p***” sometimes against players a couple of years older than him,” a club source told Whitwell.

“He’ll feint to strike then drag it and shoot the other way.”

Mejbri has featured in some first-team training sessions already under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and clearly has a bright future at the club.

We look forward to seeing the Frenchman’s development in the coming seasons.

Meanwhile, Solskjaer’s first-team squad will return to Carrington to prepare for the crucial Premier League clash against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Monday.

We feel United need an away win to retain realistic hopes of finishing in the top four this season.

Scott McTominay could return to the starting eleven against Frank Lampard’s side, after being ruled out since Boxing Day after suffering knee ligament damage.
