Fabrizio Romano: Juve plan big-money signing in summer, Pogba return remains possibility

According to respected Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, Juventus are planning to make a big-money move in the summer transfer window with Paul Pogba on their list of potential targets (via Calciomercato).

The Bianconeri signed Cristiano Ronaldo and Matthijs de Ligt in the past two summer windows and the Manchester United midfielder could be next with the Italian giants desperate for Champions League success.

Pogba won four consecutive Series A titles with Juventus before making his comeback to Old Trafford in 2016, though Man Utd have not been able to get the best out of the World Cup winner.

The French ace has made just seven Premier League appearances this season due to an ankle injury. He was expected to return to action in late February but ESPN claims he is set to miss United’s mid-season training camp in Spain.

Some fans have questioned whether he’s really injured or just biding time for a summer move, but the club has never indicated that is the case.

Meanwhile, The Mail claims United are ready to offload the 26-year-old for £150m in the summer.

But United would be lucky to get that, even if Juventus are willing to spend big in the summer, and we should throw Real Madrid in the mix too.

A recent report from the Manchester Evening News claims Pogba has already told his United team-mates he wants to leave.
