Sky Sports reporter James Cooper has confirmed Manchester United will sign Bruno Fernandes this month.
It’s the news all United fans have been waiting to hear after weeks of speculation surrounding the Portuguese international’s future.
Fernandes, 25, was heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford in the summer and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has reignited his interest in the playmaker this month.

Speaking on the Sky Sports Weekend Preview podcast, Cooper said:
“Given that United have put all their eggs in one basket – it’s the only player they are talking to, it’s the only major deal they are trying to do – you’d be surprised if they couldn’t get that deal over the line.
“It will happen and I think Solskjaer will want that player in as quickly as possible to provide some sort of spark in the absence of the likes of Paul Pogba and also Scott McTominay.”
Cooper is largely reliable when it comes to United transfer news and fans can start getting excited about the prospect of seeing Fernandes in a red shirt.
Fernandes scored 32 goals in all competitions last season and has seven goals and eight assists in the Primera Liga so far in this campaign.
A reporter on Sky Sports then confirmed the details of the proposed deal United are offering; an initial £43m plus another £17m add-ons.
