Paul Pogba has been spotted chatting with Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane in Dubai.
The Daily Mirror’s report explains that Pogba still plans to leave Old Trafford next summer, with Real Madrid being the most likely destination.
It is not clear what was discussed but it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to guess that a move to the La Liga giants came up at some point.
As good as he’s been at times, Pogba has failed to hit top form with the Red Devils and it may make sense for everyone involved if he leaves next summer.
It still won’t be easy to replace him, but with Solskjaer trying to rebuild this United squad it may be time for a new look midfield since that area of the pitch has been problematic for years.
See below for a photo from the Mirror that shows Pogba and Zidane together during the international break, following months of transfer speculation about the Manchester United midfielder.
Ed Woodward will be reluctant to leave Pogba go without a mega transfer fee since the France international is without question the most valuable player currently at United.
