Ooh aah, ooh aah, Cantona…
Manchester United legend Eric Cantona has been named as this year’s recipient of the UEFA President’s award.
Cantona will be presented with the award on Thursday by UEFA President Aleksander Čeferin at the Champions League group stage draw in Monaco
The Frenchman will join fellow United legends David Beckham and Sir Bobby Charlton in receiving the award.
Alfredo Di Stéfano, Eusébio, Raymond Kopa, Johan Cruyff, Francesco Totti are other prestigious names to have collected the prize.
Nobody has quite had the impact Eric Cantona has had in a United shirt since he joined from Leeds United in 1992.
Cantona scored 82 goal in 185 appearances in a five-year spell under Sir Alex Ferguson, and won nine trophies during his stay at Old Trafford.
Well deserved Eric!
