After beating Chelsea 4-0 last weekend, a win over Wolves tonight would have marked a perfect start to the new season for Manchester United.
That didn’t happen with United taking just one point from their trip to Molineux, with Paul Pogba missing his second half penalty which would have given the Red Devils back their lead after a stunning equalising goal by Ruben Neves.
Fans had their say on the disappointing result via Twitter, when at half-time most would have been satisfied with the performance being a goal ahead, thanks to Anthony Martial.
United dominated possession for large portions of the game but weren’t clinical enough in the final third.
Should’ve won the game. Daniel James is getting way too much abuse for one lackluster performance. I remember people doing the same with Rashford when he got into starting XI first.

Better performance than I was expecting. Felt like a loss. Which is an upgrade on two actual losses last season.

Frustrating to not take three points. But you can see the progress in the team. Onwards and upwards.

Shit result. Shows like I said the result against Chelsea meant nothing they are terrible.

Wolves got the tactics right, kicked Daniel James all over, missed pen and a massive hole where other teams called a midfield.

Good result under the Glazer regieme. Ole got the best out of the squad available. Should’ve won but lacked finesse. This is our level now.

Should be winning games like that
