While fellow debutant Harry Maguire earned the man of the match accolade, Aaron Wan-Bissaka made his presence known in his first competitive game as a Manchester United player.
Superbly defensively and like lightening going forward, Wan-Bissaka already looks like a terrific signing, and I can safely say I don’t remember seeing a full-back quite like him.
He covers a lot of ground with his spider-like legs and sometimes appears to be in other positions carrying out the work his team-mates should be doing.
Anyhow, @utdreport have shared some Wan-Bissaka stats from the win over Chelsea and they’re impressive. Check them out below:
100% final third pass accuracy
100% aerial duels won
86% pass accuracy
6 tackles won
0 fouls committed
0 goals conceded

Aged 21, the future is bright for Wan-Bissaka and he’s exactly the sort of young player United should be trying to attract.
He was brilliant and I can’t wait to see him in action again Monday week!
