Report: Real Madrid ready to sell four players to make way for Paul Pogba

Real Madrid struggled last season and finished the season 19 points behind La Liga champions Barcelona.

Life after Cristiano Ronaldo was always going to be difficult, but Real Madrid are one of the biggest clubs in the world and should have prepared for his exit in another way than naively shouldering the responsibility onto Gareth Bale.

Now changes are taking place at the club to get it back where the club’s fans believe it belongs.

Manager Zinedine Zidane has already been allowed to splash the cash on signings, including Eden Hazard from Chelsea.

But Paul Pogba is still firmly on the agenda and Real Madrid may need to sell before they can buy.

According to Diario Madridista in Spain, a high-profile list of four players could be about to get axed as a result. They include Bale, James Rodriguez, Keylor Navas and Dani Ceballos.

Manchester United find themselves in a similar situation at the moment trying to get rid of unwanted players.

Some are easier to shift than others.

Look at the money Bale earns and tell me another European club willing to pay him the same?
