It’s official.
Daniel James is now a Manchester United player and we are delighted to welcome him to the club.
The Wales international joins United on a five-year deal, with the option to extend it by a further year.

James, 19, has had a quick rise to prominence as a professional footballer. He made his debut for Swansea in February 2018 and his senior Wales debut in November 2018. Now James has been signed by the biggest club in England.
Jumping from the Championship to the Premier League make take some adjusting, but as fans we should be patient with the young Welsh star, who went on a mesmerising run down the left wing for his country against Hungary this week.
United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said, as per ManUtd.com: Daniel is an exciting young winger with lots of skills, vision, exceptional pace and a good work ethic. He had a great season with Swansea City and has all the attributes needed to become a Manchester United player.
“We are delighted he has signed with our club and we are all looking forward to working with him. This is the perfect environment for Daniel to continue his development.”
