Daniel James is very close to joining Manchester United.
The club is expected to make an official announcement over the coming days, with James moving from Championship outfit Swansea City to the biggest club in England.

It’s an almighty jump for any player but James, 21, has the backing from Wales manager and United legend Ryan Giggs, and it doesn’t get much better than that.
Giggsy had these words for United-bound James after Wales’ 2-1 defeat to Croatia yesterday, as quoted by the Manchester Evening News.
“My advice is don’t change. A club like that is interested in you for what you’ve been doing, so don’t try to be anyone else, don’t try to do anything different.
“He’s not only a fantastic player, he’s a fantastic guy as well. Very level-headed. If it does go through, United have got a very, very talented and exciting player.”
James isn’t a marque signing but we should be encouraged by United and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer making this move.
Moreover, Giggs is tipping the 21-year-old to be a success at Old Trafford.
The post-Ferguson era has seen United sign a lot of crap – and some of it readymade! It’s time now to take risks by putting faith in young players, like this club did once upon a time.
It could backfire but what good did breaking the bank for Paul Pogba and Romelu Lukaku do?
So, bring it on. Dan James on the wing! He has our support and backing every step of the way.
