Dylan Levitt is emerging through the ranks at Old Trafford and his progress in the youth teams this season should give Manchester United fans a reason to be excited.
A Wales international at youth level, the classy midfielder signed a professional contract with United in 2018 and you can be sure Ryan Giggs will be keeping a close eye on his development.
Under-19s boss Nicky Buss has shown belief in the teenager and that won’t go unrecognised by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer or Wales manager Giggs.
Solskjaer has shown great faith in youth so far as caretaker manager. With Angel Gomes making a substitute performance against Huddersfield Town, only the Norwegian coach knows who will be next?
It should certainly give the youngsters at the club extra drive knowing the first-team manager wants to put faith into the youth. They’ve a greater chance now than they had under Mourinho.
However, the club’s official website describes Levitt as a ‘creative schemer’, and The Star reported on fans comparing the Welsh youngster to United legend Paul Scholes. The latter may be exaggerated but we’ll take it nonetheless!
Here’s a five-minute clip showcasing Levitt’s best bits so far this season. You can see he has an eye for a pass and is always looking to get the ball forward.
