A few minutes ago, Arsenal Football Club released a statement saying they will be writing to fans who traveled to Old Trafford on Sunday. To apologize for the 8-2 loss, the club after offering to cover the cost of a match ticket at a future Premier League away game. Although, I’m sure Arsenal supporters would prefer to see the money spent on bringing in new players.
My question: Will it be a match against one of the other top teams? Because they will probably get slaughtered again.
Arsenal’s statement said: “Sunday’s result was obviously disappointing for everyone connected with the Club. Our travelling fans were magnificent throughout and we want to recognise their fantastic support. We will be writing to them shortly with the details.”
