Fantastic news broke last weekend that Chris Smalling was getting his chance in Capello’s England squad for their international friendly against France.
Smalling has already made 8 appearances for Manchester United and he’s obviously doing something to impress Fabio Capello.
When your a defender your job is to guard the goal but Smalling has more to him game, he’s very comfortable on the ball like Rio Ferdinand and that’s one of the reason’s I’m a fan of the boy.
Chris might not start but I’m sure if he gets a chance he’ll make us all proud and wear the shirt with pride.
