This may grant Antony another chance to start before there is no point rushing Rashford back before the FA Cup semi-final against Coventry City which takes place at Wembley in two weeks.
Furthermore, McTominay looks set to miss the next two matches with a fresh injury.
Ten Hag will speak to the reporters on Friday afternoon when he is expected to give an update on what players he will have available to face Bournemouth.
