INEOS set to approach Sir Alex Ferguson’s CEO for talks

According to latest reports, INEOS might bring Sir Alex Ferguson’s CEO, who was the mastermind of the club’s success along with the legendary manager, David Gill back at the club.

Sir Jim Ratcliffe, the INEOS chairman, acquired 25% of Manchester United and he will now look after the sporting operations of the club with all the big decisions and recruitment responsibility under him.

Fans have been clamoring for this outside investment, and it appears the team has already made an impact on Old Trafford players and staff, according to The Athletic.

The report from The Athletic also stated that the new hierarchy is looking to bring back former United CEO David Gill and they have already made an approach.

This is a major improvement for all parties involved at Old Trafford, since appropriate professionals who have been successful in the past are being consulted to comprehend the club’s current problems.

Gill departed in 2013, the same year that Ferguson did, and Ed Woodward was appointed as his replacement which proved to be disastrous for the club.

David Gill was the man who worked hand in hand with legendary manager Sir Alex Ferguson over a long period of time to bring constant success to the club and take them to the top of the football spectrum.

Whenever Sir Alex needed any help regarding player recruitment, Gill was there to deliver for him even in the most difficult circumstances but he always managed to find the best possible solution for the club.

His return to the club could prove to be a game changer for United who desperately need to change things at the top to come closer to former glory.
