Manchester United are ‘unlikely’ to sign Eduardo Camavinga – report

Following Manchester United’s 1-1 draw with Southampton yesterday, news broke that Rennes could be ready to cash in on their prized asset Eduardo Camavinga.

The teenager is one of the most sought-after players in Europe and has previously been linked with Paris Saint-Germain, Real Madrid, and Manchester United. Paul Pogba has already described him as a ‘little dancer’ and the 18-year-old has amounted to three caps for France, despite his tender age.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side have been continuously linked with a midfielder but one is yet to walk through the doors at Old Trafford and if recent reports are to be believed, Camavinga won’t either.

According to ESPN, Manchester United retain an interest in the player but any further signings, following the arrivals of Jadon Sancho and Raphael Varane, will depend on players leaving the club.

Furthermore, a transfer is labelled as ‘unlikely’ and the player reportedly prefers to stay in France with Paris Saint-Germain or make the switch to Spain.
