Manchester United are already being linked with players ahead of the 2025 summer transfer window, including Crystal Palace winger Eberechi Eze.

According to the Manchester Evening News, United wan to sign a new defender, midfielder, and winger next summer.

One player named was Palace winger Eze, who impressed for the Eagles last term, but there wasn’t any significant interest shown in his signature during the previous transfer window.

In an interview with Sky Sports, Palace chairman Steve Parish admitted he was ‘astounded’ that his club did not receive interest in the summer for Eze.

“I was really worried from a club point of view of losing Michael [Olise] and Ebbs in the same window and we didn’t have in Ebbs the interest that I thought we would have,” Parish said.

“Genuinely astounded. I mean, the guy’s just an outstanding footballer, an outstanding person.”

Eze is under contract at Crystal Palace until 2027 and there is a £68m release clause in his deal.

The England international can play as a No10 and out wide, meaning he could bring a degree of versatility to United’s attack.

United are set to monitor Eze throughout the campaign.
