Chelsea ready to offer Raheem Sterling in swap deal to sign £60m-rated Manchester United target

The gossip columns are focusing on Crystal Palace winger Michael Olise ahead of a busy summer transfer window.

The Crystal Palace talisman, who scored a brace in Monday night’s 4-0 win over Manchester United, looks likely to leave Selhurst Park at the end of the season.

Olise came close to joining Chelsea last summer before signing a new long-term deal, which includes a release clause.

It is believed that a deal worth £60m could prise Olise away from Palace and there is no shortage of links to United, as per The Telegraph. For instance, INEOS are reportedly identified the winger as a key target and Monday night’s impressive audition will do him no harm.

However, a report from TBR Football claims Chelsea are prepared to manoeuvre a move for Olise, even if they are trying to balance the books at Stamford Bridge. Aramando Broja and Trevoh Chalobah are two players who they are willing to sell, but there are others in the mix that ought to be considered.

One of those players is Raheem Sterling, with Chelsea looking to move the 29-year-old on this summer.

Chelsea apparently offered Sterling to the Saudi Pro League – but he is not keen on a move to the Middle East. Sterling’s preference is to remain in London. It remains to be seen if he’d be willing to move to Palace.

This means United could face competition for Olise’s signature this summer, however, our understanding of the situation is the player wants to come to Old Trafford.

Olise is a United fan after all.
