“One of the worst in the club’s history” – Louis Saha slams Man United transfer

According to former Manchester United striker Louis Saha, Jadon Sancho’s move from Borussia Dortmund is one of the worst in the club’s history.

Sancho left Dortmund in the summer of 2021 and joined Man United in a £73 million transfer. Things have rapidly become worse for the Englishman, even if his first two seasons were promising.

His relationship with manager Erik ten Hag deteriorated after a feud between the player and the manager.

ten Hag criticised Sancho for not giving his best in the training but Sancho hit back refuting his manager’s claim through this Twitter account.

Sancho has now left the club and joined his former club Dortmund in a loan move till the end of the season.

Saha called the move one of the worst the Red Devils have ever made and expressed his disappointment with how it has worked out.

“Jadon Sancho is one of Manchester United’s biggest transfer failures,” the Frenchman said.

“You can’t have that type of quality sidelined because of his mindset.”

“You can’t leave him out for six months because of that. The only thing that should stop you is injuries. We know that he’s good enough, which is why it doesn’t sit right. You can’t be putting yourself in that situation and thinking you’re bigger than the manager,” he added.

Saha added: “Whatever happens, I don’t back Sancho – which is hard for me as a supporter of United. It’s just horrendous.”

Sancho’s future at Man United is still in doubt even though the English star will return to the club from his loan spell in Germany.
