Manchester United target Sofyan Amrabat has left the door open to possibly remain at Fiorentina for another season at least.

There is no suggestion that the Morocco international is willing to agree new terms at the Serie A club, but he is certainly not panicking over a transfer with just tweets remaining until the transfer window shuts.

Amrabat came on in the second-half of Fiorentina’s 4-0 friendly win over Grosseto.

Speaking after the game, Amrabat was asked if he will leave Fiorentina and he kept his cards close to his chest.

“I don’t know, I could remain,” was his response, as quoted by Fabrizio Romano.

The midfielder had been largely expected to find a new club this summer, and this could be just a matter of him waiting on United’s offer.

Romano adds that despite some premature reporting last week, United have yet to make a bid for the Fiorentina star.
