Sofyan Amrabat waits for Manchester United transfer despite West Ham offer

West Ham are reportedly interested in signing Manchester United target Sofyan Amrabat.

The Hammers are in the market to find a replacement for Declan Rice, who they sold to Arsenal for £105m this summer.

Amrabat would be a shrewd signing for West Ham, after his impressive display against them in the Europa Conference Final last season. But they must fight off interest from bigger clubs.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, they have put an offer on the table worth €30 million, but the player is still waiting on a formal approach from United.

United have yet to make an official bid because they are in the process of completing a deal for Atalanta striker Rasmus Hojlund.

West Ham fans don’t need to worry about finding alternatives because they’ve been linked with United midfielder Scott McTominay.

It is thought that they would have to offer at least £35-40m for the Scotland international’s signature.

Amrabat is also a player that played under Ten Hag at FC Twente. The chance to join up with the Dutchman at the biggest club in the world will be too good to turn down.

It really is no wonder he’s willing to wait.

  1. Every player on the planet sees that Moyes and Westham are a dumpster fire and would rather play anywhere else . Man United were smart enough to get rid of Moyes quickly , but it seems that Westham need to be relegated before thay sack him .

  2. West Ham are showing the football world just how inept we can be. A totally horrendous transfer window that West Ham had two years to prepare for (knowing Rice was leaving) The current situation is worse than ever, and that’s saying something.

Why did The Hammers give the dithering Moyes any more time to kill the club.
