Manchester United let a two-goal lead slip as they failed to increase the gap between themselves and Champions League hopefuls Tottenham Hotspur on Thursday evening.
Erik ten Hag’s men were completely dominant in the first half, with goals from Jadon Sancho and Marcus Rashford earning them a well-deserved two-goal cushion.
The landscape changed for the worse after the interval, however, as Pedro Porro and Heung Min-Son scored goals to ensure the points were shared.
Man United Player Ratings
David de Gea – 6
Made a couple of saves but none you wouldn’t expect him to stop.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka – 5
Good first half but came out for the second half in terrible form. Hooked after roughly 70 minutes.
Victor Lindelof – 6
Followed up his Wembley heroics with an alright outing.
Luke Shaw – 7
Continues to be comfortable at centre-back.
Diogo Dalot – 7
Saved United on the break on a number of occasions.
Casemiro – 7
Influence on the side has waned recently but just like the rest of the team, good in the first half and poor in the second. Caught in possession too often.
Christian Eriksen – 7
Back at his old stomping ground and the first half was a showing of football brilliance.
Bruno Fernandes – 8
Somehow started the game and played all 90 minutes despite spending the week in a protective boot. Almost scored a goal-of-the-season contender just after Tottenham’s first goal and he will be kicking himself for not slotting that away.
Antony – 6
Plays a big role in how United build their attacks and that could be seen in the first half.
Jadon Sancho – 8
Ten Hag was full of praise for the 23-year-old going into the game – could this finally be his big break? Took his goal superbly.
Marcus Rashford – 8
Back among the goals as he scored his 29th of the season. Also assisted the first goal.
