Manchester United midfielder Casemiro claims Marcus Rashford can become one of the top five footballers in the world.
The Brazil international has been impressed by his Manchester United teammate since joining the club in the summer. Today, against Wolves, Rashford was the difference maker in the team’s 1-0 win over Wolves.
Rashford was dropped for the game after showing up late for a team meeting this week, but the manager didn’t hold a grudge as he brought the forward on at half-time.
Casemiro waxed lyrical about Rashford in a post-match interview with ESPN.
“I’m going to be very honest with you, I was really surprised by the player that Rashford is,” Casemiro said. “In my opinion, especially knowing the player off the pitch, if he does well he can be one of the five best players in the world.”
