We are delighted to hear that Jadon Sancho is back in Manchester having returned to Manchester United’s training complex.

Jadon Sancho will continue to train separately from his team-mates while Erik ten Hag’s coaching staff get a close look at the winger, who has not played since October 22.

Prior to the World Cup, it looked like Alejandro Garnacho rise would see Sancho lose his place in the team, which was before Ten Hag decided to send the 23-year-old to the Netherlands for an individual programme.

Everyone wants to see Sancho bounce back but his performances earlier this season blew hot and cold. He started the game well by scoring goals but suddenly appeared to lose all of his confidence.

At Friday’s press conference, Ten Hag stressed Sancho is still not ready to return to squad training (via Manchester Evening News): “Yes, of course, there is coming a time but the time is not now.

“But he is making progress. We will see when he is ready to return to the squad. He is back in Manchester. He will start in individual training.”

It goes without saying that Sancho will not be available for Saturday’s game against Wolves.
