Manchester United fans have rallied behind manager Erik ten Hag after Cristiano Ronaldo slammed the current setup and claimed he has “no respect” for the Dutchman.

In a disappointing turn of events, Ronaldo has done an exclusive interview with Piers Morgan about his unhappiness at Old Trafford. Quotes from the chat were published on Sunday night – after Alejandro Garnacho’s 93rd minute winner at Craven Cottage.

This wasn’t the first time this season that Ronaldo has tried to take the headlines after a United game he didn’t play in. Following a 2-0 win over Tottenham in October, the 37-year-old stormed down the tunnel after refusing to come on as a substitute.

Ten Hag then decided to drop Ronaldo for the following game against Chelsea, but he has since been brought back into the team and given the captain’s armband.

Fans have been reacting to the Ronaldo’s interview with Piers Morgan, although the full video won’t be available until Thursday. Most are rallying behind the team because nobody is bigger than the club.
