Marcus Rashford has booked an intense 10-day individual training camp in the United States to prepare for the new season under Erik ten Hag.

The academy graduate has been the subject to lots of criticism over the past year due to his form worsening over that period of time. Sky Sports pundit Jamie Carragher suggested that the England international is not good enough for United, but I can’t help but think that is a premature judgement.

I don’t expect United to give up on him anytime soon and Ten Hag will be working hard to get the forward back to his best goalscoring form.

According to the Daily Mail, Rashford is ‘desperate to revive’ his career at Old Trafford amid fears of missing out on a place in the England’s World Cup squad later this year.

Three Lions manager Gareth Southgate recently said that the United players who missed out on recent England squads have a lot to do in order to get their spots back.

Southgate said, as per The Sun“They’ve got a lot to do to get back in the squad.”

Rashford has not been part of England’s squad since the beginning of the year. The last time he featured for Southgate’s side was the Euro 2020 final – when he missed a penalty in the shootout.
