Wolves star offered to Manchester United by agency

After five impressive years with Wolves, Ruben Neves could finally be on the move with Manchester United being invited to approach the Portugal international.

Neves, 25, has been linked with a move to United for years. We’ve ran countless articles on reports suggesting he was a target for previous manager, and it’s not surprising to see one of Jorge Mendes’ clients continuously linked with the club.

The Gestifute agency have a presence around United and it would not be difficult for them to try flogging another one of their players onto the club, especially when it is a transfer that would make their client very happy.

According to the Manchester Evening News, that’s exactly what they have done – by inviting United to bid for the player – knowing that the next manager will be in the market for midfielders.

The same report claims United have never went for Neves in the transfer market, with the club becoming irritated by the constant speculation surrounding a potential deal.

Ruben Neves to United?

I think United could do a lot better in the summer but, at the same time, we don’t know how many signings they plan on making and Neves is certainly an upgrade on some of the options already at the club.

Kalvin Phillips from Leeds United would be a better signing and we’ve been strongly linked with him in recent weeks.

Let us know in the comments section if you think Neves would be a good signing for Erik ten Hag?
