It appears that the Manchester United board have come to a conclusion over Ole Gunnar Solskjaer after tonight’s board meeting, held following Saturday’s 4-1 defeat against Watford, which will be the final straw for the Norwegian as manager.
The Times has reported that Manchester United are talking exit terms with Solskjaer after deciding to dismiss him as manager.
An emergency board meeting was called by the Glazer family tonight, as per Duncan Castles, and it is believed that they discussed Solskjaer’s dismissal.
It is reported that it would cost the club about £7.5 million in severance pay to terminate his three-year contract, which was agreed not long ago, yet again showing incompetence on the board’s part, but they must honour Solskjaer for his work to date.
Darren Fletcher and Michael Carrick are being tipped to take over on an interim basis.

The biggest warning – from a media perspective – is that there has been no vote of confidence since the board meeting. That is telling that the writing is on the wall and Solskjaer’s time is up.
It has been an abysmal season to date and something needs to change, although finding the right candidate won’t be easy, with the Glazers really at the wheel.
