Manchester United are in action against Tottenham this afternoon as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side have an opportunity to redeem themselves after last weekend’s embarrassing defeat to Liverpool.
Solskjaer named a similar starting eleven for the visit to Spurs but made two changes, with Edinson Cavani and Raphael Varane coming in for Mason Greenwood and Marcus Rashford.
The change provoked a system switch, with Solskjaer deciding against going with his preferred 4-2-3-1 formation. The Norwegian’s side started the game on the front foot and eventually made their dominance pay late in the first half.
