Buzzing. It’s the only word I can use to describe how I feel after seeing Manchester United announce Cristiano Ronaldo’s shock return.
Just 24 hours ago it looked like Man City was his next destination but a call from Sir Alex Ferguson this morning helped turn his head, and now and number of ex-players have jumped to social media to rejoice, including Rio Ferdinand and Rafael Da Silva.
Both players knew Ronaldo as a teammate during his at Old Trafford and it’s going to be a fantastic experience for the current crop to play in the same team as a complete athlete.
Da Silva tweeted: “The king is back home.”
While the news left a smug smile across Rio’s face, as seen in the video below:
