It now looks almost certain that Cristiano Ronaldo will be leaving Juventus, most likely this weekend if the latest reports are true.
The 36-year-old has agreed personal terms with Man City, as per The Independent.
This move is likely to hurt quite a few United fans — only those who decided to ignore his “slave” comments many moons ago, but it’s definitely a slap in the face nonetheless.
For all his talk about United down the years — despite hardly mentioning the club in his very own documentary — it will come to nothing if he joins the sports-washing exercise across the city.
Ronaldo has had a mixed time with Juventus and at his current age, turning 37 in February, 2022, I don’t think we should be investing heavily on this one.
Transfer guru Fabrizio Romano posted a tweet in reply to a question about Jorge Mendes, who he claims made an approach to Manchester United over the potential signing of Ronaldo.
yes, Mendes also had a contact with Manchester United
