Manchester United prepare three-man Paul Pogba replacement list

Paul Pogba has yet to sign a new deal at Manchester United.

The 28-year-old midfielder is out of contract next summer and should he fail to agree on a new deal, the club will need to dip into the transfer market for a replacement. His

Pogba is rumoured to be asking for £400,000-per week in wages to extend his deal at Old Trafford.

According to the Mirror, United are trying to plan for all possible outcomes from this week’s contract talks, therefore identifying three players who could replace the Frenchman.

On the list, at least reportedly, are West Ham’s Declan Rice, Leicester City’s Wilfred Ndidi and Atletico Madrid’s Saul Niguez.

Rice seems like a getable target since Jesse Lingard has pulled up trees after joining West Ham on loan in January. If that’s the midfielder Solskjaer wants the board must ensure they get him.

The same goes for Ndidi and Niguez, although I doubt whether the latter is a serious target this summer. It seems like his name is always doing the rounds in United’s gossip columns.
