Bruno Fernandes spoke to BT Sport after Manchester United’s 2-0 win over Granada at Old Trafford.
The Portugal international said it was a good game, which United controlled, and he’s delighted to be in with a chance of winning a semi-final. We’ve played in four under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer but have yet to progress past that stage.
Fernandes praised AS Roma defensively – hinting at Chris Smalling without name tagging him – but he really hailed Edinson Cavani.
“He’s a proper striker. A proper No.9.”
The United midfielder spoke a little about next season and whether or not we’ll have Cavani up front, but without giving anything away.
o.
