Dean Henderson

Good save to deny Vardy and sold down the river by Fred for Iheanacho goal. Perhaps could have done better for Leicester’s second. 5

Aaron Wan-Bissaka

Busy defensively and made important block in first-half but no influence going forward. 5

Harry Maguire

Ghosted past by Vardy like he was invisible but recovered well in almost identical situation. 4

Victor Lindelof

More assured of the two centre backs in dealing with elusive Vardy. 6

Alex Telles

Enjoyed some freedom on the left and did little wrong before Luke Shaw’s arrival. 5

Fred

Inexplicable and calamitous error for first goal and somehow allowed Tielemans room to score. Disastrous showing. 3

Nemanja Matic

Outclassed in midfield by relentless Wilfred Ndidi. Bypassed for Tielemans’ goal and did not impose himself at all. 4

Paul Pogba

Great shoulder drop and pull-back for Greenwood as United finally came alive but could have been more effective through middle. Wasn’t fit enough for the full 90 minutes and one of four changes. 6

Donny van de Beek

Almost anonymous before clever dummy for equaliser. Too timid and predictably replaced by Fernandes. 4

Mason Greenwood

First goal since January put United level and he was dangerous around the fringes. Let down by lethargy of teammates. 6

Anthony Martial

Isolated and feeding off scraps. Another frustrating evening leading the line for the Frenchman. 4

Substitutes

Scott McTominay

Completely misjudged header to allow Iheanacho to seal win as United conceded from another set-piece. 4

Bruno Fernandes

Solskjaer will rue not starting him and free-kick was designed for top corner. 5

Luke Shaw

United couldn’t sustain any attacking pressure so Shaw’s influence was limited. 5

Edinson Cavani

Return is welcome with Martial still struggling but he couldn’t force a revival. 5

Amad
